The Firm has been involved in various technical infrastructure designs and development projects for both Government Institutions and the Private sector.with the primary objective of providing comprehensive consultancy services in a wide range of engineering fields. Apart from the Zambian practice, BCHOD has well-established practices in other Southern African countries. These companies operate as autonomous practices in the following countries:

ZAMBIA  : Lusaka
ZIMBABWE  : Harare
BOSTWANA  : Gaborone

The Firm currently employs more than thirty (30) technical personnel in it’s Zambian practice.  The Africa Group practices are flexible and assist each other in times of need more especially with regards to Technical staff requirements.

BCHOD (z) utilises the combined talents of the region to service the needs of all projects being handled by the various offices where appropriate. The company has handled several projects on a joint venture basis with a great many internationally renowned consulting firms. Such arrangements have greatly exposed the company to modern techniques of design and project management.

Currently BCHOD in the sub-Saharan region employs more than 140 technical personnel in all practices within the region. The practices are flexible and assist each other in times of need more especially as regards personnel.  It has several departments, which are highly technical and professional and are capable of producing quality work output in the fields of Water, Highways, Structures and Survey Engineering, Information Technology and Computer aided Design and Drafting.

The firm employs its own surveyors for topographical surveys and should Material investigations be required, specialised local firms are engaged on a joint venture basis with the firms own Materials Personnel. The use of computer aided design and drafting is used extensively to execute projects diligently and professionally. Our firm is equipped with appropriate computers, plotters and software programmes.
